28 day countdown

Railings are in, just need to be stained. Bathroom tile is done and I think we nailed the grout color choice. It was dark inside and some pictures had the flash on, so it washed out the colors. Also siding is starting. I feel pictures are better than me rambling, so here ya go. Ha

Flash on phone washed it out.

Hate these lights! Already ordered replacement. Ha

Our current backyard view with all the crops cut down and field tilled.

Replacement lights. Master is a 4 light, and the other two bathrooms are 2 lights.

  1. Who loves your railings? This gal! Gorg! I'm laughing that you said you hate your lights and already have some new ones on the way. Your home is going to be fab!

  2. So funny about your lights... ours are facing the opposite directions (so the bulb is point up, not down). I'm not a fan either suspect we will be replacing them sooner than later!
    Everything is looking good!

    1. Thanks LuLu! I also think the placement of that light is off. If you blog later can you take a pic of your master? I'm pretty sure the light is way too low. I'm going to have Jim ask the PM to move it up.

      Your house is looking great!

  3. Thank you both! Yup we're basically going to sell all of our lights on a garage sale board. Ha. The lights we got to replace them we're too pricey and we like them a lot. From 1 Stop Lighting, they have fantastic deals and service. I'll post a picture in the post.

  4. I think they installed your light incorrectly.....in the model pictures I have the bulbs are facing up. Can't wait to see more updates!!!!

    1. Technically it can be mounted either way, but neither looks better. Lol. Also they have the box mounted too low by about 6 inches. It shouldn't be right at the mirror like that. I'm going to tell the PM to move it up.

  5. Our lights are mounted the same direction as yours, but agree, those are mounted way too low! Omg- you guys got the metal spindles and balusters! Oh they are so pretty. Ok, that's it, I'm just moving in with you guys! Another perfect option you picked!

    1. Ha, Chrissie come on over. We are assured that the light has already been moved, but haven't seen it with our own eyes yet. The metal balusters was the one main money splurge I was OK with because it would have basically cost the same for us to do it later ourselves and it's hard to know if everything would have even lined up properly. We are also following your blog to see how well Ryan responds. We wish you good luck!
